About Aviation Technology

Serving Corporate Aviation Since 2001. Kentucky’s largest FAA-certified MRO—veteran-owned, locally operated, nationally recognized.

Our Story

Largest FAA-Certified MRO in Kentucky

Aviation Technology, Inc. was established in 2001 as a veteran-owned business with a simple mission: deliver the technical excellence of national maintenance providers with the personal service only a local business can provide. For nearly a quarter-century, we’ve served the corporate aviation community with unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What started as a small operation has grown into Kentucky’s largest FAA-certified Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility. Our 30,000 square foot hangar at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) houses FAA Part 145 Repair Station #AYTR297X, complete with authorization from leading manufacturers including Garmin, Collins Aerospace, Gogo Business Aviation, and Genesys Aerosystems.

Veteran-Owned Excellence at SDF Airport

Our strategic location directly beside Atlantic Aviation at Standiford Field provides unmatched convenience for aircraft owners throughout the region. With ramp access and a 500-mile service radius, we serve Louisville Metro, Central Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and beyond with the same level of technical expertise you’d find at major maintenance facilities across the country.

We’ve built our reputation one satisfied customer at a time through technical excellence, transparent communication, and fair pricing. Our deep roots in the local aviation community mean we’re not just your maintenance provider—we’re your neighbor, and your success is our success.
